Today Pinwilz operates Catawba Vale Café a unique and artsy restaurant in downtown Marion offering fresh foods and great atmosphere. Catawba Vale is managed by Bev Heldman.
Pinwilz - Unifiweb an Internet website and marketing services division operates out of Marion and has plans to open offices in Winston Salem, NC & Andrews, NC.
Pinwilz - Butterfly Blends manufactures soy candles and is currently seeking new manufacturing space to continue making high quality products. We are anticipating a re-launch of Butterfly Blends in 2012.
Pinwilz co-founder Dru Heldman has also spun-off a new business Arrowhead Network Solutions, LLC which has its first office in Andrews, NC with plans to work with rural area non-profits to provide reasonable priced Internet access in underserved communities in North Carolina.
In May 2011, Pinwilz moved from it location on Main Street in Downtown Old Fort where it was best know for Pinwilz Beads & Jewelry Supply, TAAS Gallery, The Old Fort Store and its starting place for Catawba Vale Café, to it's new location in Downtown Marion where it now resides. The new building home for Pinwilz, Catawba Vale Café, Unifiweb and Arrowhead Network Solutions is in a very unique 1935 Old City Hall building. The building was once home to the city, fire and police departments. Originally the building was built with a six cell jail-house. Catawba Vale Café now occupies the first floor with offices available to other businesses on the second floor.
